We've been working to get kids excited about theater, but we're going to take it one step further...
Stage and Page is a program where Wise Fool Shakespeare can put great books directly into the hands of great kids. For all of our shows for young audiences, we are going to give away a copy of the original book that the play is based on to the kids in the audience! Starting with Judy Blume's classic, "Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing!"
By sharing a live performance with a child, and then right away giving them the book with that same story, we hope to inspire a love of reading that will last for years to come! And since this program will work with our Pay What You Can performances, too, we're doing what we can to expand access to books AND theater no matter
what anyone's financial situation might be!
Stage and Page is supported in part
by Penguin Books!
